  • Jason Kaplan
    Jason KaplanFounder and CEO

    Jason Kaplan graduated Colgate University with a BA in Geology. He then earned a JD and a Masters Degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. His graduation present from law school was a weekend Boot Camp at the Culinary Institute of America. It is the compilation of these passions that drive Jason’s vision for SOTE Co.

      Stephanie Klorman graduated Binghamton University in 2005 and is an educator by trade. Her profession provides her with the unbelievable talent to  motivate and be patient, simultaneously. Her innate business sense drives SOTECo. into new and innovative markets.

        Hillary SmithDirector, Marketing

        Hillary Smith was born into the culinary world, but her success as Associate Marketing Director at Bon Apetit Magazine can only be attributed to her independent drive to be great. Her skills in developing unreal marketing materials can not be questioned. She brings tremendous experience and knowledge of the back-end of the gourmet food market and her understanding of the nuances of sales and business development is key to SOTECo.’s growth and success.

        Hillary graduated from Colby College in 2008 and formerly blogged her weekly food creations at Currently she crushes almond cherry chocolate shakes before taking on a casual triathlon. Don’t challenge her, unless you want someone to immediately accept it.
